Her Story Mentorship is coming to the Ardsley Library on Thursday, January 29th, from 5:00–6:30 pm. The workshop and educational materials are free, and pizza will be served! Recommended for 7th-8th grade teens who identify as girls, non-binary or gender expansive. RSVP required by January 15th; click here to register.
The workshop will focus on reducing mental health risks exacerbated by social media use. Danielle Lobl, a Masters School senior and Ardsley resident, researched the impact of social media activism on mental health. Her research led to her involvement in the organization, along with Adara Levey, a junior at the Masters School. Adara and Danielle are members of the organization’s teen advisory board and serve as student mentors and workshop leaders. They believe the model is extremely helpful and hope that middle schoolers will benefit as well. |
